Rising – texting who?

A lonely country road going somewhere,
empty bottles, broken glass, instant coffee, no refill
in an airport bar early in the morning.

Texting you, why don’t you write back? I am texting you.

The cold wet storm is blowing in my face.
The sun slowly rising, the sky lightening up
times will be different, now, nothing stays forever.
Watching the day go by, don’t look back.

I won’t be texting you. Why do you text me, now? Not texting you.
